Why is it that seller's so often edit their listing and erase the price they were asking for items on these message boards.

This is a shared resource and community site, and by erasing information, it takes away a valuable reference for all users, that may be used in the present and in the future.

Personally, I believe it is an impolite, selfish and arrogant behavior.

By participating in a community, I believe we should be 'open source' and respect the value that might be had by others, in return for using the community to benefit oneself personally in offering these items for sale.

Any thoughts?
