should be used with 30mm torsion bars or larger if running 200# springs unless these shocks have been revalved for another type of setup. great price

30mm welt. torsion bar
26.5" bar length
16" lever length

Roughly 320lb spring rate + 200lb coil springs = 520lb total rear spring rate

I use this calculator to find out and you can simply adjust for different torsion bars however the bar length and lever length is the same for the late 944/968 cars

AC Parts Utility - Coil Spring Rate Calculation

25.5 MM late turbo, S2, 968 torsion bars are only roughly 200lbs spring rates

You could delete rear bars but then like 600lb springs would be needed for track use

You dont need those with these Bilsteins those are only for the not so percise KONI ones? These are a direct bolt in, you will se in picture they have a rubber bushing around steel sleeve that is the same size as stock shocks. Also im sure you can see in the picture the way the mounts upper and lower are offset to one side to make them fit perfectly in our 944 cars. I assume you are refering to these: Racers Edge Porsche Suspension
