FREE 951 Tub/Carcass

Before I haul it off to the scrap yard I thought I'd see if anyone wants to come get it for free. It's located in central New Hampshire. Please don't asked about shipping or delivery.

Save me!!!

What can I do to save this tub from the crusher?
If I didn't live in central florida I would be there in a heartbeat with a trailer to haul it away.

Could find a friend in the northeast that would take it for you.

It's really not that nice. It has a crappy paint job. With that said, there are still some good parts on it.

I'm trying to figure out how to say this. I guess what I meant to say is that, aside from the cosmetics, it looks like a really nice car(cass). And by that I mean that I don't see any frame bendage or body panel "wrinkles". And by that I mean that it appears to be fully qualified for playing the roll of the "save" for someone who has one that got let's say, all boogered up, or something. Of course it would take some work. But in essence, both cars could live again!

Hopefully, someone will come forward.

I just thought of an idea. If you are unable to unload it here, try putting up on ebay (as local pick-up only), as it will then receive great amounts of exposure. If you are not interested in making any money on it, just put it in as a buy-it-now auction for $0.01. That will minimize the amount that you as the seller will have to pay in ebay fees.

That being said, I now feel it is time to ask the question, does the deal include a signed-over title, along with the bill-of-sale?

EDIT: I ask that because I believe that legally, the trashed car will need to "become" this one, if it is used as the "save" for the trashed one. I normally wouldn't be so bothered by the thought that it might go to the crusher. But for X's sake, it IS a perfectly good TURBO body.

It does have the signed over title from the previous owner and the new owner section was left blank.

I like the idea of putting it on ebay for local pick up only with a BIN of $1. I think I will do that. Thanks!

If I do a sucessful auction listing for $1 I get hit with a listing fee of $60.

Seems the only affordable way to give this away on ebay is with a classified ad which I bet doesn't get the exposure needed.

Any other ideas to give this away?

Not if you just sell a part off of it and include the free chassis with it. Just don't list it under vehicle. list it under a chassis part.

you need to raise your price cause with final listing fees, paypal fees and local, state, and federal taxes, youre going to lose your arse. if it were me, id ask for my $$ in scotch or some guava nectar...good luck with the sale bro and cudos to you for the gift, whoever ends up with it. Im giving one away too but thought two at one time is way overkill. cheers mate,...

List it on Craigslist under "free". You'll be surprised how quickly it will go.

Another great idea. I just listed it on craigs list for free. Curious to see which source gets the first legitimate taker.

The first response I get from craigslist within 5 minutes of posting is......"Would love to restore it with my daughters"

I hope her daughters have big bank accounts.

Or is someone from PP trying to punk'd me?

I'm in Gilford. I have someone that says they are coming to take it on Saturday, but I would give priority to any Rennlister.
