Manual Steering Rack w/ Intermediate Shaft

I have aa manual steering rack from an 83 944 which will fit any 944 or turbo as is with early offset (86 and older) or will fit any later car wth different tie rods which can be purchased from p.aragon parts.
This rack comes complete with the intermediate shaft which is different from the power steering shaft and therefore must be used when switching from power to manual. Also, this rack has both of the rubber boots intact and undamaged as well as newer tie rod ends which look good.

I would just clan out the old grease and add new grease and then be done with leaking power racks forever!

$320.00 shipped OBO
********* new price $270 shipped**********

pics coming soon

Price is there now-doing this from my phone and had to restart it.

Which part do you need? The piece that comes up through the boot and the knob goes on or is it the longer rod underneath the car from the shift lever to the tranny?

Still for sale. And I noticed this rack has the same tie rod ends as the power racks so it's easier and cheaper to replace the ends when needed.

Many manual racks have a different design for the tire rods and require specific ends. Apparently porsche used different set ups as I have found both designs on various 944's I gave pulled racks from.

The rack has two different style ends on it. One is the earlier and the other is the later. That's a little strange.

Hmmmm, hadn't noticed the 2 different tire rods. One must have been replaced at some point. Still works as it is and if going on a later offset car where the tie rods have to be replaced anyways, not an issue.

But it is less than perfect & want to get some money for a project, so new price:

$270 shipped
