WTB 944s dash bits

I need the ac switch cover, cig lighter, and what ever goes next to it for a 1987 944s. Can someone help me out? See the pics of what I need. AC switch works, just missing cover.

PM or email jhelgesen@aol.com

I may have an extra switch cover for the ac but how do you remove it?

I would assume it pops out with a gentle pry using a small screw driver? Got the entire switch extra?

To get the entire switch, you need to unsolder it from the climate control unit. The cover is not available unless you find someone who has an old broken climate control. You can order the switch from the dealer, but it is over $60 for that single switch.

Can you send a close up pic, I can probably walk you through popping it off.

Open the climate control unit, and there are two tiny tabs that hold the switch on, on they are located on the top and bottom of the switch. Be VERY careful, the tabs break very easily. Insert a small flat screw driver or small pin would be better, carefully lift the tab and move the cover forward. Do the same with the other tab.

John,
I have everything you need. Still need to pick up those wheels also. I'll give you a call when I get back from Hershey.
