Need 924 Body Part..

Someone backed into a buddy's 924S, and he asked me to help him find this section of the Drivers side..

Trades prefered (he is an older gent, not deep pockets)

Hey Racerbvd, the body part you are discussing in this thread is the Left Quarter Panel.I just recently replaced this only it was the right side on an 81.
I bought a whole rear quarter cut off a 924 being parted out for $100.00.
The work involved in removing the actual outer 1/4 panel from the inner using proper tools to salvage a usable panel was staggering.I would never do it again even if it cost $0.00.
More than double the work(removing you original off your damaged car)because you are just cutting it off,and not needing to end up with a good panel which you can weld onto your car you are repairing.
My advice to you would be buy a NEW 1/4 panel or repair the original.
If you do go ahead with the replacement I can give you some tips if you have not previously done a 924 1/4 panel replacement.
Keith.
