1991 944S2 Rear Hatch w/ 968 Style Rear Wing - Rare / Factory Original!!

Avoid the hassel with the lock key interference when fitting a 968 hatch to your 944 - the third brake light is in the normal 944 location! Also, the wiring harness is fully intact and hatch pins / rubber is normal 944 issue for total plug and play on any 944, turbo or S2 . The hatch does have minor seperation or delamination from frame. Flaws are a small scratch in center trim piece right above third brake light and spoiler paint is not perfect. This is a good rear hatch removed from a 1991 Porsche 944S2 coupe. Asking $1,150 - sorry no shipping. Located in Napa, CA John

As disclosed in OP. I have had no problems with water leaks and have used hatches in similar condition for many years with no problems. There is a good write up for repairing the seal at: Pelican Technical Article: 944 Rear Hatch Glass Repair

i like the look of the spoiler, but you've got to be joking with a price @ $1150 for separated glass

i wouldn't be able to get to cali to pick it up, anyway.

A well known local breaker/reseller here in SoCal has one WITHOUT seperated glass for $800.

Nice hatch - same thing I have on my car. As I recall the trim pieces alone are $1200 new from Porsche and one of the rubber seals is $400. There were only 500 of the 1991 S2 coupes made so this hatch is really rare. Updated rear wiper too.
