(2) Yokahama A550V 245 45 16 tires, never mounted

For sale (2) Yokahama 245 45 16 tires. Always stored indoors in a controlled climate. Tires have never been mounted & are new. Whiskers remain around the whole diameter of each tire, as can be seen in pics. Will ship or local pick up. (937)242-5493 or can send me a PM. Thank-you

EDIT:
Both tires are the same shade of black. The tire in the background is the correct shade. The flash from the digital camera makes the tire in the foreground appear to be a lighter shade of black than it actually is.

$120 for the pair
Location 44057, Madison, OH.
Cash or Paypal (no fee charged for using Paypal).

What is the date code?? Are you open to any trades??

944 LSX 10-11-2011 05:51 PM

03. Stored indoors would be similar to an 09 that was being used. Can't trade. I don't really need anything other than cash. Thanks for the interest.

SOLD. Thanks for all of the interest.

IMO, too much concern is put into the build date. Properly stored street tires (non "R" compound) can be stored for years without effecting their performance. Would have used them myself had I not changed my set up.

Hell, back when Lance Armstrong was drugging his way to victory, his tire guy was intentionally storing his racing tires for years prior to each use.

Sorry, I have to disagree with you on this, I have seen "Brand New" tires fail, what happens is they separate & come apart. Even if they look & feel soft, if they are over 5 years old, it is a risk and most larger tire stores won't even mount out of date tires do to the risk.. One of our employee's had a Toyota she bought new, had it maintained at the same dealership, and had them install tires. Within 1 month she had to major tire failures, turned out the tires were out of date:(
Naturally they took care of the problem...

Never had any issues & I work the tires harder than most. Will continue to store & use as needed.
