If that pot-metal drive gear is the same as those for an early 944, I'll take it. I've got a good motor but the gear has broken at the shaft. Will this work in the 944S1?

Thanks!

parts

I do not know and I will not guess. In the past I told one buyer that I thought a part would fit and it didn't. Even though I offered a refund he blasted me on the list. He threatened violence and accused me of being abusive to our war veterans. So now I prefer to tell buyers what car the part came from and let them make their own determination. You can look at the parts list at Clarks Garage and see if the part numbers are the same. If you have not been to Clark's Garage the URL address is:

Thanks

So how does one go from having a part not fit to accusing someone of abuse, I wonder...

I'll do some more checking. I've got one of the early roof drives, so am in a bit of a no-man's land for parts. That 924S assy is the later drive, by the look of it, and the clutch changed. I'll get back to you...
