FS: Bilstein HD Struts and Shocks

I just pulled these from an '86 944 NA parts car I picked up. They felt quite stiff on the car, but found the fronts are leaking (these can be resealed by Bilstein). The rears are in good condition, and do not show any signs of leaks, or any other damage. The springs, strut housings, and tops are all in good condition. I was told the car was lowered, but the springs appear to be stock.

Asking $200 plus shipping for the set. I could remove the springs, housings, and tops, to reduce shipping cost. Pick up is welcome, in Emmaus, PA 18049.

Looks like it's $150 to have those fronts rebuilt.

Too much for me total, thanks. (New set is $450 w/ lifetime warranty).

Not a problem. I am open to offers on the set.

Out of curiosity, where did you find them for $450 new?

I found them online through Bilstein's website. You type in your ZIP and they give you links to the nearest places, I just clicked on the first one. Seemed okay to me as fully adjustable Koni Sport's are only $550/set through Tire Rack.

If the fronts were good I think you're pricing was right on the money. It's the rebuild required that's scaring me. $150 is the base price, it goes up if they find issues.

Great, thanks for the info. I'm really surprised; had no idea they could be found at those prices new!

Yes, I fully understand the concern with having the fronts rebuilt.
