1988 blown up engine part out.

I have an 88 944 short block that had thown a #2 rod. Block damaged and crank scrapped (maybe). Anyway if you want any parts off of it contact me at jfbergman@hotmail.com. Cheap+shipping. It's in the way and going to the scrap yard.

1988?

After showing a picture of the pistons to a member, I've been told these are low comp. early pistons. Can someone point me to where I can find block and head casting numbers? I had no history on the car, so it's possible that someone installed an early engine.

Still have a head with damaged #2 valves, oil cooler.
Crank is scrap without grinding.

Oh Wise Pelicaners!

Block casting # 944101108R
Head casting # 944.104.303.8R

What do I have here.
All orders for parts on hold till I figure this out and correct the add.
Sorry,
