FS: Bronze Saratoga Top (Manual Sunroof) In E. PA

I have a bronze Saratoga glass top available, for a manual sunroof 944. Overall, it is in good condition. The worst damage includes a couple very light scratches (only noticeable from certain angles), and I am missing one of the caps for the latches (have the latch, but the cap that holds it in place is missing). The seal shows a couple minor imperfections as well (found one small cut, and a few little indents; seal will not have to be replaced though).

Asking $500, picked up. Located in Emmaus, PA 18049. Prefer not shipping, but will at buyer's expense.

you are aware Pilkington is currently designing tops for 944’s; the project is in Beta testing now and slated for release as soon as the top's seal bugs are worked out. Pikington claims the tops will actually stay sealed and seated at speed, unlike the Saratoga tops which only seals, stay seated when the vehicle isn’t moving.

are you firm on the price? home this weekend?

Yes, I read up on the project a while back. I had no idea where they were at with it though, or if they were still moving forward with production.

I'm negotiable to an extent; currently building a house, and could really use the extra cash! And yes, I'll be around this weekend.

so what is your absolute bottom line-not a penny less price? your best price will be weighed against waiting a few months for a brand new top of superior design / sealing capability

how long does it take to get from your house to PA turnpike?

PM if you want

No no, sorry I'd keep it for that!

Hey I tired, figured worse you'd say was no. How about $200 shipped and I pay PayPal fees?

Haha, it never hurts! But sorry, for that price, I'll keep it for my 951.
