I know of one... rebuilt engine, straight body, etc... it just needs to be put together. the guy tried to get me to buy it for just $1000 but all I wanted was the vented nose panel and hood for my 944. if he doesn't sell it a whole he will sell me just the parts. i would be happy with just the nose panel. I would also like to see it restored though, tough decisions.

it is a 5 lug car as well

Too bad you aren't searching at 924.org, as someone just crushed a perfect candidate.

I've got one for sale - has a burned exhaust valve - disassembled now. Would take $1400 as sit sits. 5 lug with ATS Mesh wheels.

No Affiliation.

80 931 in Broward. A bit overpriced, but that color combo is quite rare (and looks great in my opinion) and this car is one of the better examples I've seen for sale:

80 931 in St. Pete. This car used to be up in Savannah. I almost bought it when I snagged my DProd, but the owner at the time was too hard to work with, and didn't seem that motivated. This car has aftermarket mods, no idea how well they've been implemented, but the guy I corresponded with claimed it was modified by Brumos. Might be worth checking into:

There is a car here in texas, you could probably get the car minus the drivetrain for 750 or less, the guy is desperate to sell.

lol no one would suspect it to be the monster it will turn into. hopefully shipping won't cost an arm and a leg. If you happen to come across another vented nose panel could you let me know?

Putting the Turbo S driveline in the early car will be problematic. The engine mounts and crossmember are completely different, and the transmission mount is different. The stock fuel tank will not work, needing to fit the Gen II plastic tank. Fuel system is different, as is the braking system.

924 project

The fun of the build is exactly that, the base of the 944 is the 924 if Porsche can make the changes I certainly can .... When we rebuilt the R5 the fun was the hunt for parts when we built the Blown Ford fanger V8 the fun was the build .

HEY we might think the world is still flat ... all said in FUN , but thank you for your input , this is what makes this site great. Dp951
