WTB: 89 944 Nose Panel

Anyone got one they're willing to part with? Need to replace mine that suffered some recent hail damage.

Thanks much.

panel

Have an early one spot welds would need to be drilled to remove it. I could cut away the clip so it would be only teh panel and small amount or attacking metal.

have a 86 but suspect some filler at the ft lower edge. the paint is faded but will buff out car was wet in the image

either one $60 + fedex at cost Ships from NC not sure where you are located.

Would rather stick with the later model panel. What makes you suspect filler in the red panel?

I'll need to respray it anyway, so it it's just paint lifting it's not a big deal.

Thanks.

nose

When I pulled the fiberglass 951 bumper off it looked like there was some filler in the tip of the nose. It may have been added to nose to help make the fiberglass bumper fit up better. but the lower metal on the nose panel looks a bit wavy and looking closer at the edge I can see filler where the paint line was hidden by trim strip at bumper. There is a panel behind it so can't tell if it was pushed in at the tip or not. maybe better for a track car . I could try and dig it out in one spot see how deep it is , maybe or just leave it.

Ej, if you're willing to fix a busted nose panel why not fix your busted one?

I didn't anticipate finding one in good shape to be so challenging, so I'll probably end up doing just that. Was just hoping to find a nice bolt-on replacement to save some time.

Guess it's time to try my hand at metal work!
