Parting Red 87 944 S, maybe

So, looks like I might be parting a Red 87 S with linen interior.

I got the car to use as a daily driver while working on my other S, but it didn't pass smog today. And I don't think it's worth putting more money into it. It's a salvage title, bent left fender, frame might be a little twisted. Engine runs great actually but doesn't pass smog.

Wanted to gauge interest here before I make my final decision... And how soon I might part it out.

Anyone interested in a good running engine? Whole thing just pulled straight out?

I might have interest in some parts depending on condition. Hows the interior overall, hows the engine run, hows the hatch?

I still need to come by your place, when would be a good time?

Hi Spenc, the interior is in pretty good condition. Carpets would clean up nice. Seats are not ripped or torn or worn too much. Hatch is pretty good, better than most. Dash is cracked though, as usual.

The engine runs great actually. PO had a recent head gasket change at a shop. New ICV, new vacuum lines etc.

You can come and try it, listen to it if you're interested in the engine...

Yeah, unfortunately not worth putting money into restoring it... with the salvage title and all the work that needs to be put into it, it really isnt worth it. I think the frame is a little bent too.

The center console lid has a small gash in it, it's the dark spec in the middle. Not big maybe a centimeter long. I can take a better pic tomorrow if you like. $30 shipped?

I'd like to find someone to take the whole engine. It's too bad to have to part out the engine as it's running as well as it is...
