2.5L Supercharger kit F/S

Done converting my supercharged '87 to normally aspirated S2 power and offering this Huntley 2.5L supercharger system kit up for sale. It is complete including all mounting brackets, belts, ECU chip, fuel injectors, oil catch system... everything you'd need. What makes this set up somewhat unique is it allows you to retain your factory A/C system. I'm thinking $1,800.00 plus shipping.

Don't think that's a Huntley offering, but could be.

Either way, very cool setup. Blow-thru AFM...WHOA

I wonder how it'd compare...would you sell just the supercharger and brackets, without the fueling/chip stuff?

Not like any Huntley I have seen. Speedforce would be my guess.

This supercharger system was built and marketed by Superchargers of Knoxville. They made superchargers for 944 and 911 applications back in the day. The 944 version came in two versions, with and without intercooler. Their major selling point was the A/C was retained by the all steel bracket they engineered. I own the intercooled version of the kit which used the stock 951 intercooler in the usual position under the front header panel. I never did install it though. In its original configuration it came with a chip and rising rate fuel pressure regulator that added fuel as boost increased. The original programming was developed for the 87 and older engines with the lower compression ratio pistons. I actually found the phone number of the gentleman who designed and marketed it some time ago and spoke with him. He said demand wasn't there for his products so he quit making them. I believe he used to run an add in Panarama some years ago.

Did you ever dyno your car with this set up? It would be interesting to know what RWHP is possible. Your car is very nice. It has the right mix of options, LSD and sunroof delete. Good luck with your sale John.

2.5l

Hello,

I'm interested.

Does it not fit your 3.0L engine? How many miles did you put through it?

Thanks,
- B.

Nope. Won't work with the 3.0. Has less than 20,000 miles since purchased/installed.
