Oil Pan - Brand New for 944 / 951

Purchased from a Porsche dealer many years ago. Part # 944.101.201.6R. Includes internal baffle. Still has original protective tape on gasket mating surface. Just a little dirty from years of inside storage. Perfect cooling fins for restoring your Porsche. Price is worth it to spare the hours of cleaning your dirty pan! $165 includes shipping to CONUS.

The transition from the 6R to the 8R pan happened sometime during the 1987 model year. Check your pan's part number to see which one you have. Either pan can be used on all models of 944 as long as you use the matching oil pump pick up tube. While the pan is off, you should always install a NEW pick up tube as these have a known failure (cracking) history. Also, the provision for the turbo oil return line may or may not be drilled and tapped on certain NA cars, the factory just installed a plug in certain NA applications when the pan had the turbo drain provision.

The pan was purchased sometime in the mid 1990s.

John:

I am still trying to confirm the part number of my oil pan. Sorry for the delay, but my pan is not off of the car, so you know how hard that may be. LOL

I should know this weekend.

Thanks for your patience.
