Howdy,

I took the picture in the midst of garage cleaning, so that's a kid's car seat sitting on top of the motor. For intake, it's just an aluminum tube running to a K&N cone filter and airflow sensor that sit under the header panel. Hood latch has been removed. I just added some fresh 243 heads, so looking forward to getting it back to the track.

It's a long story. The car is originally a non-sunroof NA. While building it as an LS conversion, I found a full S2/turbo nose, fenders, etc. I ran out of time, ended up keeping the NA bodywork, selling the S2/turbo parts in order not to have to paint everything.

Then last year I decided the car needed more tire, so I got the broadfoot GT2 style flares and nose. After starting down that road, I found a nice and inexpensive set of front turbo bodywork locally - and by that point much of the new bodywork needed to paint anyway.

So, I used the Broadfoot flares and a turbo/S2 nose panel instead of the Broadfoot nose.

The Broadfoot nose has not been mounted, drilled or prepped and is as shipped in the original box.

Thanks,
Dan.

Not to get off topic, but how was the fitment of the BF flares?

No problem. I've not done any fiberglass or bodywork prior to this, so I don't have anything to compare this to.

The flares are pretty strong and the finish is smooth. The edges needed a lot of trimming and sanding to make them look decent. In retrospect I would have spent more time on those prior to painting. The only section I'd do differently would be eliminating the rocker panel extension. Those wouldn't be necessary if the front and rear flares were designed a bit differently.

Overall it's a good product and I prefer the 993 GT2 style look to other wide body configurations.
