Wow a 3 liter crank paired with stock 2.7 pistons no wonder walls and skirts are wasted the math doesnt work out maybe a tad shorter custom rod ??

Hi Eric, it's Kurt from La Crosse.
Pressure plate - is it a Sachs 3082-069-041? That's what was supposed to be in my 944, but I'll never know because Nick kept all the parts he took out of it.
Gear ratios - are you sure 4th isn't a 29:30 instead of a 30:29? Because most of them sound like Audi gears, one diesel transmission had the 43:9 4.76 final, and the 32:26 3rd, and another had the 29:30 4th and a 28:36 5th.

Kurt, I don't know about the pressure plate. The next time I am over at Pine Tree, I can check on it. Very interesting on the transmission. I'm surprised the diesel would have such a short final drive ratio. I could well have swapped the numbers on the 4th gear. The trans code is a 7V, but the internals made be Audi, eh? What Audi trans.

Yes, very big bummer for all involved with Nick, sorry it bit you as well.
