1987 944S block, pistons, rods - $200

Have an engine block, pistons, and rods from a 1987 Porsche 944S.
Engine spun rod bearing and the crank needs work so I am not including it with this package.

Pistons and rods are still installed in the block, but could stand to have rings replaced (about 200k miles). Bores have some scoring but doesn't appear too bad/worth worrying about.

Just taking up space in my storage unit.

Located in Los Angeles, CA or could bring with me to San Diego.
Looking for $200 for everything picked up from LA/SD, or $250+shipping.

Ok also instead of risking scoring the block anymore you could just spray with oil and bottom out all the pistons in block to get pics of bores as top 2/3 is wear damage would be thanks

ok, i had forgotten how dirty this thing was
not great pictures but they show there isn't much in scratches.

there are a few in cyl.#1 but i can't catch a nail on them at all. these are visible in the last picture. nail doesnt catch and they are smooth across my finger skin

there are a few rub marks in #2 (likely piston contact when the #2 bearing went out) but it is not scored at all.

block should be good to go with a great cleaning and scrubbing of the bores and new rings. or overbore if that's your plan.

let me know if your buddy wants it, i might even go down on the price to clear it out.
