SFR stage 1 turbo for sale

Really need to sell this. SFR stage 1 turbo has less than 3,000 miles on it since being rebuilt by Turbonetics. $500

Very interested in this turbo, any more specs/pictures you could post etc? I'm not very familiar with the SFR turbo's...is it a Turbonetics?

Feel free to PM, THanks!
Ethan

Yes, turbonetics. It has a t3 stage 3 wheel in a replica kkk k26/6 housing. I was seeing full boost by abouit 2900 RPM. Turbo is rated at 350 HP. Great turbo for street car.

For those curious, its probably a 50 trim T04B compressor wheel on the cold side. It is indeed a great street turbo.

I'd be interested perhaps if it was inside a replica #8 housing instead of a #6.. I've got a monster hybrid turbo (HX35 cold side w/HX35 turbine wheel inside a garrett .82 T3 hotside) going on my 951, but I wouldnt mind having a smaller street turbo to one day toss onto my NA. My k27/8 performed awesome, a 57 trim is about the same size but should spool quicker.

Turbo spools very fast. Saw 19psi by 2900 and that was with a half dead cylinder.

the #6 hotside is too small though, it chokes a 57 trim compressor. hell, it chokes a stock k26 compressor.

I had a turbonetics 60-1 hifi ball-bearing unit with #8 KKK replica hotside running 16-18psi, omg when the boost hit...holy moly, hold on!

I'm hoping for similar results with my holset. The HX35 flows just a bit more than a 60-1 hifi, about like a GT3582 and out spools both of those compresors. The HX35 turbine is very similar in size to a garrett stage 5, except faster spooling and better flowing. The Garrett hotsides flow more than the replica KKK's, which themselves flow better than their genuine equivalents. The #8 hotside has similar volume to a T3 .63, while the .82 T3 unit is about the same size internally as a kkk #10 and also a .58 T4.

What turbine did you run with the 60-1, I'm assuming stage 5? when did you see full boost? I'd like to see 400 rwhp @ 18-20 psi on a 2.5 liter with full boost no later than 3500 rpm.

Stage 5 F1 wheel. 3300rpm full boost, sold it to a member here. He's gonna enjoy it 951x's better than his janky 26/6 kkk.

I had 318-335hp 335 tq, but #'s always vary depending on engine internals, headwork, exhaust, and downpipe.

My engine is stock as is the exhaust, a pity. The turbo would easily do 375-400 if it was able to breathe better on 18-20 psi with 3" dp/full exhaust/tial f38 wastegate and no cat.

Gonna miss that turbo, but I rarely drive the car anymore, it sits in the garage staring at me, asking "why don't you love me anymore"?
