Interested in the M474 Koni shocks. Are they off the car yet? Most interested in condition; is there any rust or pitting on the rods, and do they seem to still have gas pressure?

Hey JJMohler - no luck on any of those items - really would recommend buying all of those new as they are near impossible to find in decent used condition.

I don't have them off the car yet. I would suspect they need a rebuild but I can check.

ok let me know. a set of inserts is about as cheap as the truechoice rebuilds. i wish they would sell new oil seals, and i would have no trouble cleaning up the internals. such is life i guess. the car we are building had stock m474s with 1987 build codes and they dynoed ok. just keeping an eye open for cheap spares

Would you do $200 shipped for the konis? I can only use them if they are the original M474 parts that have part numbers stamped on them (I know that is a stupid statement, but sometimes racing makes one do and say stupid things.)

Let me get them off the car and check on the part numbers and condition...
