It is good to read the rule of the forum before posting FS ads:

For example:

"- You may not create more than FOUR different posts at any one time, or have more than four posts bumped onto the first page of the classifieds at any one time. The reason for this is to allow space for everyone to sell, buy, and trade."

Sorry. Certainly don't mean to abuse the privilege. Pleading ignorance. Thanks for enlightening me.

Do you know what trim this is? Looks like a #6 hot side?

Maybe equivalent to k27/6

Also is it water cooled?

It is water cooled, puts out the same #s as a K26/8.
Huntley was kinda vague on exactly what he was selling, but in this case the turbo worked as advertised. Wouldn't hestitate to use it again, but am going to a 3.0 w/2.7 head and need more air.
Email me tomorrow and I can get you the #s I have from majestic.
Thanks

Look at the flat spot on the exhaust housing, that's a #6 hotside, #8 hotside don't have that.

I believe this is a Huntley Racing Stage I "Cheeter" Turbo w/#6 hotside.

I am looking at the build sheet for this turbo that was rebuilt by Majestic Turbo in Waco, TX. It says, " K26/8 STG III W/C TO4B 50 TRIM E." It has a #8 hotside.
When I bought the turbo new from Huntley Racing, it was sold to me as a Stage III B Ball Bearing turbo.
That's all there is to it. It is not a stage I "cheater" in spite of what you may "believe".

Sorry for the thread crap, didn't mean it in any fashion, but people need to be educated on what they are buying. This is a #6 exhaust housing machined to fit a 26-8 turbine wheel, hence the "cheeter" name from Huntley Racing. GLWS

Well, time to eat some humble pie...fiily is right. I took a closer look at the turbo and it does indeed have the flat spot! I was going by the spec sheet I had from Majestic Turbo which said a 26/8. It does have a 2 3/4" inlet though, so what does than mean? I had no intention of misleading anyone...I just want to get rid of the darn thing and recoup my rebuild expense.
It's hard to admit you're wrong, but sometimes ya just gotta. I was wrong.
On the plus side, I also took a closer look at what I thought was a stock '87 turbo on my shelf - and it turned out to be a K26/8 (turbo S right?)! It didn't have the "flat spot" and it has an"8" stamped near the flange on the inside. So I appreciate the education. Now I know what I really have.

If you decide you want to sell that K26/8 then shoot me a PM. I'd be interested in upgrading my 88 to Turbo S spec
