912E oil leak

Hello 912E & Type lV enthusiasts. I have an oil leak at the place shown in the attached picture.
What literature and internet information I've been able to come up with does not identify exactly what this is. Once I know what it is I can order gaskets or whatever is necessary to get this sealed up again. Looks like there should be a circular gasket of some kind ?
This area has always been a little wet with oil over the years but nothing substantial. I just completed an oil change/valve adjustment and for unknown reasons now it is a pretty steady daily drip. Appreciate the help -

This is the wrong forum.

However, if you are talking about the 3-4" round plate in the picture, that is the oil temp sensor. Gaskets are available here for $3.50

Sorry Ron, that picture is very much a Type 4 oil thermostat cover on the bottom of the motor. 914, 912E and various VW's.
