if going Wossner why not go oversize? that would open up your range of useful blocks as many have "light" scratches that could be honed away.

Wossner 100.5 and 101 cost the same as 100s...

V2- this is my 3 rd engine in 3 seasons with the wossners, I've had no luck with over sizing and ALUSIL reconditioning. So my choices at the moment are to send my block out for a niki coat or this , I put 20 hours on the motor before the cylinders start gouging and rings break and destroy pistons. 11:1 comp. 190whp 8v. Behe tuned, my other car that has the same build only with stock cylinders holds up fine

Where are you located? I have a decent block in Phoenix I would part with.

Behe tuned makes me think you're in the MD/VA area?
Is Behe doing the machine work?

You might try talking to Sloan at SSI in Parkville.

Would try another shop for the alusil work...when done "right" Wossner pistons + rings in overbore/honed alusil work fine for years and thousands of miles.
