Does anyone know if the fuel regulator off an S2 would be an upgrade and fit the S so I can use these on my S?
Thanks
Colin

Hi Colin, you can go with the S2 regulator on your S would bring you from 2.5 bar to a believe 3.5bar. so it would help out

Changing the fuel pressure regulator(FPR) and the resulting change in fuel pressure will screw up the tune of your car. You would need a new chip and tune to go with the new FPR.

The computer controlling how your engine runs expects the fuel to be under a certain amount of pressure and opens the fuel injectors for a very specific amount of time to allow a certain amount of fuel into each cylinder. If you increase the fuel pressure(which is what going to an S2 FPR will do) then every time the computer opens the fuel injectors, you will get too much fuel in each cylinder.

Guys..
The 944S and S2 both use 3.5-3.8 bar fuel pressure. The FPRs are basically interchangeable except i believe one had a barb where the other has a threaded connection.

Thanks for the clarification Spencer. S has barb and S2/968 is threaded.
