928 wheels

Hi I have a set of 928 wheels that I purchased for my 944, they are the standard stock wheel my Question is I donít have the 944 any longer and would like to know if I can use these wheels for my 1992 300ce Mercedes Benz. Any help would be appreciated Iím not sure if they will fit Iím aware the bolt pattern may be different.

928 bolt pattern is 5x130.

1992 Mercedes Benz 300CE (24-valve)
5x112

Look for H&R wheel adapters that convert 5x112 to 5x130 bolt pattern. I am currently running a set of Porsche 928 7-slot/disc wheel on my '97 Saab 900. I found a set of H&R adapters (high quality made in Germany!) to convert 5x110 to 5x130. The adapters were about 20-25mm thick. The high-offset of the 928 wheels makes them perfect for use with adapters on other cars, as the adapters will fit without making the wheels poke out too far. In my case, the adapters made up the difference in offset between the stock Saab wheels and the 928 wheels, so I'm only off by 4mm from stock! I recommend using an offset calculator like https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator to calculate whether or not the 928 wheels will fit properly on your Mercedes once you find proper adapters.

Wow thanks for the info, since I have the wheels with good tires and I need tires on the merc, maybe it will work with spacers and cost less than 4 new tires. Thanks I will look into that.
