Wanted: Shifter Handle

Looking for an automatic shifter handle for my 88 928

The plastic on mine has self destructed.

Black is my preference.

Check with 928intl.com they are doing their half price sale, but be sure to ask for it in comments or on the phone, its not automatic.

I still have this item in development, but it is actually fairly complicated. I have the core of it fabricated in aluminum tubing and aluminum brazed into a T, and a mold for the outer shape in hard rubber, but I still need to have the push button made out of Delrin and a plug for the other end out of the same. Then I need a thin aluminum liner for the push button end and that is not going to likely be formed from any standard thin wall tubing, unless I might find a way to stretch it into the correct size.

Then I will need to cover them with leather. My price, if I can get it all done will be less than $200, and I hope quite a bit less. That will depend on just how much time is involved in the fabrication, but not counting much for the development.

If you can find one in the meantime, don't wait on me.

cheap shifter

not factory, but fits & works- best of all, it's cheap & doesn't have the plastic mount that breakes on the factory ones- - under $15.00

it's the same thing garage 9 / jager sells
