928-18" wheels fitment??
Hi,
Does anyone have 18" wheels on their 928? Are there any fitment issues or other issues to consider? Thank you, Tim |

18 Inch Tires -
Hey Tim - There are several Tire and Rim Gurus on this site who can probably help but you should mention the year of your car.
There are basic 18 inch tire/rim combinations that are known to work well but if you stray too far from these, it can get a little complicated when Off-Sets and Wheel Spacers begin to be thrown into the mix. I think 225/40 ZR18 (Front) and 265/40 ZR18 (Rear) have been verified to fit with no problems but I'm far from an expert. Good Luck - Michael

Just checked my 83 S. Fronts are 245 40 17 on 7 17s with 55 ET. Rears are 9 17s with 55 ET. I believe there may have been some interference with the front tires,but only slightly and a 225 40 mounted on that ET should be okay. The rear 275 has lots of room.
