Sunroof question
Hi,
Is there a way to manually open/close a sunroof. It is clear that I have to take apart the system if I want the sunroof to work. However, it is slightly open and that poses a problem since the car is kept outside. Any thoughts? Thanks, Tim |

It will require either a flat blade screwdriver or an Allen wrench (usually)
There might be a plug in the headliner or a zipper in the rear (usually) or you might have to remove the front map/interior light assembly, I haven't done a 928 for years Or if the entire unit is frozen in place, you can pull the headliner panel down from the front leading edge, release the cables and slide the panel forward to the closed position. |

hey tim - if you pull the sunroof motor cover off i think you can spin the rubber motor coupling by hand - if the cables are intact it should slide close - but as peter stated above if it's all seized up more disassembly will be required
