Pondering using non Porsche even style rubber on the doors
I'm not happy with any aspect of the rubber on the 928 doors, especially the window seals, too expensive, very dated, hard to install, and don't work all that well. I still have the doors off my parts car sitting in the garage, so I am relatively free to try anything that I want, twice, before endangering my "good" doors.
I'd prefer something all rubber to rubber mounted in the trim strip, as well as being able to start from some new existing rubber from some other vehicle. |

Which rubber on your doors are you wanting to replace?
Roger has aftermarket replacement window seals that are much cheaper than OEM Porsche.

That is the prime offender, cheaper, but no easier to install or any better. I would like to replace the metal trim it goes into as well, start from scratch.

There is nothing easy about replacing rubber on the 928 doors for sure! LOL
Let us know if you find something better and easier to install.
