bent wheels

well I hit a pothole and bent two of my 18 inch cup 2 wheels..I'm really sad. In any event I can possibly get a set of 5 spoke boxter wheels size 18x8 et57 and 18 9 et 43. will these sizes work on my 1987 928s4? my current wheels are 18x8.5 et 52 and 1810 et 47. (?). Or should I try to get my cup2's repaired. anyone have experience with repaired wheels or boxter wheels of these sizes?

We have multiple companies local to us in DFW that repair wheels at a huge discount to buying new. It is possible that you may have wheel repair companies in your area also.

I'd repair the Cup 1s. If for no other reason to sell and offset the cost of the wheels you are thinking about buying.

The wheel repair company that I have used local to me has repaired some pretty gnarly damaged wheels. There IS some damage that cannot be safely repaired. Send us some pictures of the damage.....worth a thousand words.

Your wheels would have to be really bad to be beyond repair. post some pics of the damage if you can. the 57mm offset is actually much better than your cup 2 52mm. I'm running Panamera 18s in 8x59mm with 245s on the front and 265s 9x43mm with 265s on the rear of my 86.5 and previously on my 85. they should also fit your S4 with no issue.
