‘84 928S seats-electric or manual

Hi,
The inside of my car is all f$/ked up. Both seats appear to be motorized but neither work nor can I feel any wiring that should go to them. Obviously I am pulling the seats for better inspection. Here’s the question. Do these cars come factory with power seats, manual seats or is it optional?
Thanks for any insights into this complex question 😁
Happy Holidays!!
Timq

can't say whether it was an option or standard - i would think standard - are there the control switches on the outboard sides? - there are only 2 wires that supply power from the car - all the controling is in the seat itself - there is a release lever under the seat - looks like a tube - it will release the fore/aft gear and allow you to push seat all the way back - maybe get a better view - if seat has not been moved in a while you might have to sit in seat while someone else moves lever so you can really push back with legs

Control switches there but I cannot find any wire under the seat. I also haven’t found the release lever but it must be there. Problem is the seats are as low as they can go so getting at anything is a real pain.
Thank you for your feedback. I am sure I will figure it out!!
