I just can't find this part!
 

Hi, I'm in a process of getting my '87 S4 back on the road, I'm missing the alternator wire harness that goes from the alternator and connects to the 12 pin plug on the passenger side of the engine compartment, the only place I could find it they ask $800 for it! .. just because they built it from scratch while I only need a used (even if it was in a bad shape, I could fix it). Has anyone here is parting out a 928 S4? .. its so strange the car is cheap but the parts are almost non existance! .. I could find the part I need for my 911 almost with in a day or two, but for the 928 I need to spend months to find one part, I'm beginning to hate that car!

Have you checked with 928 International?

I can only assume you have asked Roger at 928srus at this point...?

Is it universal or year specific? I think I saw a parts car here in Canada being advertised on Kijiji.

Few people can afford a 928 that is cheap to buy. ;)
