AC blows cold but everytime I accelerate the air vents close and blows air on my feet
Has anyone else had this happen?

You may want to check with the folks at the 924 forum.

I HAD THAT PROBLEM. THE COLD AIR COMING THRU THE VENT IS AT HIGH PRESSURE WITH THE FAN ON MAXIMUM. THE LOUVERS ARE SO LOOSE THAT THE FORCE OF ACCELERATION INCREASES THE PRESSURE JUST ENOUGH TO SNAP SHUT THE VENTS ON THE LEFT AND/OR ROGHT SIDE OF THE DASH. TRY TURNING DOWN THE FAN SPEED OR REDIRECT THE AIR SO THERE IS NOT SO MUCH PRESSURE COMING THROUGH THE VENTS THAT ARE CLOSING.

Check that you have no vacuum leaks
Have you checked to make sure that you do not have vacuum leaks? The HVAC flaps are vacuum controlled, so their proper operations requires that enough vacuum exist to hold them in the proper positions.
