1981 Vacuum line question
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1750797493.jpg
This photo is from my 1981 5-speed, USA model. I have a question about my vacuum lines. Please see attached photo. (I put white paper behind the lines for better visual) I noticed there is an open vacuum line coming off my quad connector. Should this line be blocked off or should this be connected somewhere else? |
I believe it should be blocked. From the blue valve, you should have: 1) a vacuum line through the firewall to the vacuum manifold for the climate control actuators 2) for an AT 928, a vacuum line to the transmission modulator. For a manual, no vacuum line. 3) a vacuum line connecting each of the fuel dampeners and fuel pressure regulator(FPR) to each other, and 4) a vacuum line leading to the cruise control located in the driver side fender.
There may be a vacuum diagram for your specific year 928 located on the underside of your hood. |
I believe so
