Be very careful with injector replacements. There are a whole slew of what looks like Bosch replacement injectors that are Chinese built. They will install just fine but your car will not run correctly.

Unless it's someone you know that can verify the injectors, I would tell you to buy from a reputable 928 parts dealer to minimize the danger of Knock-offs

Agree 100% - i rebuild these, as well as 944/911 injectors, and would agree you are spot on. The only versions that perform well - in my opinion - are the originals.

I replaced the injectors on my GTS with what I thought were original Bosch injectors while doing a bunch of other stuff around the intake. The car ran great before the work and ran like doo after. After undoing all the work I had done while trying to figure out what went wrong, I was left with the "new" injectors. I reinstalled the original old injectors and it ran great again.

You learn something every day working on these cars.

Dan,
Depends... if one gets a quality set of 'real' 4 hole injectors, I suspect they will perform well. That said, the market is littered w/off-shore and counterfeit injectors that are garbage.

I am a fan of the OE parts... once cleaned, good for another decade or two.
