humor me...
ok. im thinking about doing a conversion to my 914....(yes... i have an underpowered teener...but i wan tto fix that;-))...i have been looking at 8cyls for a while now but i havnt really thought about a porsche engine till now. i dont kno wmuch aobut the 928 or its strong/weak points... so i come to the exxperts. what do yall think, is it possible? what would i have trouble with? would it even fit in my compartment? just looking for the best way to get the most power out of my daily driver...if this conversion wont work, i might just fall claim to a chevy v8 or massive type IV that ill do myself.?
just a guy looking for the right answers... thanks, -David Elliott

I think you're better off with a Chevy small-block.

a couple of people have done it before but it requires extensive surgery.
a smc would be easier or if you wanna stay porsche go for a 908 3L. |
