all years but for example a 1983 euro. Some say that porsche low ball the numbers in germany beacasue taxes are payed depending on horsepower of the car. so they lower the rate for their buyers. i just wanted to know how low, i heard 10% but don't know if its true.

I've seen some (80-83) EuroS putdown about 250-265 to the ground on a dyno. Pretty close to the 300hp factory spec.
I think the numbers for the GT were a bit low.

This page should have all the reported stats:

928 Engine/performance specs.

I recall that folks usually subtract 15% to determine rear wheel power.

One thing I noticed the other night looking through my owners manual.

Porsche calculates the performance (not the horspower) of their cars with 1/2 max load. Max load for the 928 would be somewhere near 650-pounds, so the car was performance tested with 325 pounds on board. Therefore, most of us will be able to run a faster time than the factory spec if we're the only one in the car

Just some trivia for the day

what if you weight 325, i guess instead of buying performace parts just lose weight and you'll go faster. lol
