do you guys actaully have any real problems with your cars, ever? LOL jeez, sounds like a nice car, or is that just because there is not many of you here at pelican with 928s??

My gosh, my 928 is huge piece of junk. . .aka Money Pit. If I posted all the problems I am having, I'd be booted. Those in Dallas can see my 928 being towed at least once a week. I think I will have replaced everything on it before it will ever start again. LOL. Process of elimination.

Thankfully the darned thing was given to me!

"What" sounds like a typical 928 to you? My 85 is in great shape.

Seems to me that the 911's have just repair issues as any 928. It's all a matter of proper maintenance.

Whoa, didn't mean to insult anyone here. Pound for pound, the 928s are less reliable than similar year 911s. It also depends on how the car was taken care of too. The 928 engine compartment is packed, and confusing, which makes it more expensive to work on. The water pump replacement is a bear for example. Because of this, some 928 owners postpone maintenance, which makes the cars less reliable...
