Advice on buying this 928

I have been looking around and found this. The guys says the belt has been done and everthing works but the overdrive in the tranny.

Anyone have an idea what the overdrive fix usually costs ?

Any recomendations on if this looks as a potentially good buy ?

M...911... Hmmm, "new tran" but O'drive not work?
What's he mean "overdrive"? How does it drive/run?

Did he do water pump when belt done? A/C work?

All electrics ok?

Uh, 86k miles vs. 80k miles?

sorry the 80 k miles that was originally on the post was my mistake.

Since you have a 84 928, how do you like the power ? Is yours and auto Trans or a 5 speed ?

I have not driven this one yet, wanted to get some info first.

Also, who's the 928 mechanic in seattle that I can call ?

M..911... Mechanic= Gerber Motorsports, (206)352-6911. They're by
Fisherman's Terminal. Ask for Mark. Be sure to do a PPI !

I have the 4-spd auto tranny and I like the power- it's enough for me
and works around here and over the road. That's why I got it, for
long haul touring. My 924 is my 'track' car.

G'luck.
