Buying advice
Hi guys. I am venturing onto your board from my usual 911 home to seek some buying advice.
I am thinking very seriously about buying a Shark. I am UK based and so will be looking at ROW spec cars. Most interested in 87 to 90 ish S4 Autos. Can you tell me where to look for VIN numbers and Engine numbers when I view a car please. I expect to visit cars myself first and if everything looks OK then proceed with a PPI including comp and leakdown tests. Obviously though, I want to be able to rule out the dodgy ones myself and only pay PPI charges on the ones that look good. Your advice is welcomed though, because I am green regarding 928's and don't want to look like a numpty when viewing. TIA Mark

Mark, You'll love the Shark. I't my favorite porsche to drive long distance in! You'll get a ton of info if you post this question on the rennlist 928 forum. They are very active over there in 928's. So, go to:
http://forums.rennlist.com and select water cooled then 928. Jim
