928 Rim ?
I am posting this for a friend of mine. He has a 1982 P 928 with stock flat slotted rims. What he would like to do is put Boxter rims on his 928. What are his options. Will Boxter rims fit? Any suggestions? Thanks

Short answer - I don't know... I do know that offsets and such are different on the 928 than any other Porsche but some will fit fine with spacers. I think the fronts on the Boxster are narrower than the 928's.
I can't help more than that other than to say look up all the offsets and back spacing for the rims in question. |

They should fit, 928 backspacing is factory 65mm, as long as you run a 52mm front and a 47mm rear you will be fine. I have 18x8.5 52mm front and 18x10 47mm rear and they fit well, mines an 80' model. These are the max on backspacing with this size wheel.
