new to the 928

This may sound like a dumb question, but I just purchased my first 928 and a "coolant" light came on followed by a red triangle with ! in the middle on the dash and by the ash tray. Please tell me that just means "add coolant"? and if it does, this is a dumber question, where do I add it. My 944 had an obvious expansion tank, I don't see one on the 928??? I don't even see a locking cap in the engine compartment?

THANKS!!!
bob

Coolant tank is at the rear passenger side of the engine bay on the firewall. If the tank is full and all else appears fine, it could be the coolant level sensor sticking or faulty. (it's in the aforementioned tank)
Also you can "burp" any air out of the system by the fitting on top of the radiator tank-d/s

Thanks, just low coolant. I don't see a bleeder valve on the radiator to "burp" out air, I will look again today. I was working in the dark last night with a small flash light.

Bob, the bleeder has a hose on it that runs across the front of the radiator then down to the ground. It's a plastic fitting, so tread lightly.
