It quit while running
 

1986 928 was running and just quit, Plenty of gas in tank but no gas squirting from fuel rail when trying to start. I have checked the fuse and replaced the fuel pump relay. Anybody got any ideas of what it could be? Thanks.

Sounds like the pump itself isn't working, pull the cover under the tank and check the wiring back there, then (safely) have someone toggle the ign. swith to "start" and see if it's whirring.
