Unknown knob
 

I recently purchased a 928 with 45,000 original miles. Restoration over the past 3 weeks has been a blast, but now I'm at a stand still.

There is a place for a knob next to the emergency brake. It looks like a half moon knob with no control on it. Does anyone know what this is or what it does. I need to replace the missing piece...Please help...

if it's a euro then it's the headlight adjustment knob, which is probably disabled due to USDOT regulations, if it's a US then it's probably the fader for the rear speakers
