1980 928S worth? 928ram help please
Guys,
A friend of mine just purchased an 80 928S with 44K original miles. can anyone give me a ballpark worth on this car? Thank you in advance...

5spd or auto? sunroof or no sunroof? maintenance history? color combo? condition? lots of factors involved here

THat being said most of the grey market cars are the "S" version and should have: flat disc wheels, front and rear spoilers, rear fog light, mid fender repeater lights (most have tacked-on US spec lights front and rear also); internally, look for headlight aim control knob next to seat, "928" over a large "S" embossed in the horn pad, German wording in the dash warning (may have been changed with speedo) and heater control. The grey-market "S" is what you're looking for; 300hp 4.7L engine coded M28:11 or M28:12.

without proper documentation the mileage is unknown as the odo has been swapped
AT hurts as the 5spd is more desireable per the vin it's an '82, 10th digit C no sunroof is a plus I'd have to see pics and maintenance history to give a truer value, but I'd say $3-5k depending on how bad the paint and interior are
