I loved my two previous 951's, but a turbo 928 is quite a machine indeed. Both cars can be about "equally" fast with the same amount of $ into them, but the 928 remains an incredible cruising & comfortable machine.

Mark, I tried to contact Boost Logic to get your kit. Never got my call returned. What's going on?

Wow, a 2006 Post revived. I was wondering why Mark stated the OB kit "will" be released in 7/2006.

This all looks great. My experience however is, adding more power can cause more engine problems. I think I will keep mine street driveable and since not doing any street racing would rather keep it close to stock so the engine lasts longer. It is fun to see this stuff however, but for me, had my big block HP thrills years ago. My old 427 L88 Vette idled like a fuel dragster, ate Sunoco 260 gas at 6 mpg, went like a bat out of Hell. No I like the 928S, goes fast but in comfort! Just fun to drive at reasonable speeds.

928's have proven to be very strong engines for power adders. I've been giddy with delight on the turbo kit: it's my 2nd car & a riot to drive.

I bet it is really fast, no doubt. I don't see drag racing the 928. It's a road car!! The thing is made to handle, not just go in a straight line. It's made for Road America and tracks like that. I certainly would like to see your set up. I can just imagine how it sounds and feels. I would never race mine however. I want it for nice trips along the lake here on nice summer days, windows open, girl friend along side, radio on and the beach ahead!

I only hit the strip once every few years with the boys: it's not my thing: I'm a road-racer.

Sonnet I've been around, just not on Rennlist since I was banned for not paying 928Motorsport's advertising bill.

Anyone ever compared ford 5.0 manifolds to porsche 5.0 manifolds?

I would try this out--- with a plasma cutter for the body and a welder for the manifolds..... I know it doesn't compare to Kuhn or Robinson offerings, but you could wreck 5 or 6 kits on your way to balancing the money out .... Globalization and it's perks! But surely- it's not all roses.

I don,t think that those would work you would have to cut those up to much to make them work.

Everything on the &hitlist has come full circle. The upper mid-western nay-sayers on turbo technology / cutting holes in the car have now decided to twin turbo their own car and seem to have found use for a plasma cutter an/or oxy cutter plus hole saws. The cyber-loser punk moderator is no longer in control of anything and the place is now under new management. What a paradigm shift!

Wow, UNBELIEVABLE, I mean REALLY UNBELIEVABLE!

Still, no sell for me. I stand by my 3+ year old decision to not participate there.

I'm so glad when I come to Pelican Parts and see the little box that states this place is "Hacker Safe" and is tested daily as such.

Have a great day lads!
