Going well Sniper. I finished the dual-pipe downpipes this weekend. Manifolds are ready for ceramics...downpipes will be ready by Friday. After those come back all I have to do is to run some plumbing to and from, configure the oil scavenging system and a few other odds and ends and she is ready to fire.
As you can see...I no longer see it worth my while to contribute on the "other" board. After the last stunt by the pack of Jackals (including the moderator), I figured my time is better spent on more productive things. I'm anxious to get this car running soon. Lots of potential here. Talked with a lot of people on these chargers...much good news for sure! An easy 750 worth if I want to screw it down hard. I'm estimating well north of 500 on the first go. Stay tuned...I should be up and running within 6 weeks or so. You won't see my results on the "other board"...at least not placed there by me. Later, JK

Glad to hear it's coming together nicely bro. I can hardly wait to see some pix and vids of the finished machine!
As for the 'other board', i havn't been back there at all since i left months ago. As i said at the time, i was done there. There are plenty of FANTASTIC 928 resources and sites around without having to play their cliquey game. Speaking of resources, this board is fantastic, i can't believe i never knew about it before the other day. A real kudos to the admin/mods here....very nicely executed. |

Good deal Bill. I'm moving fast on the 928S4 twin turbo...and it will be moving fast before too long. I'm pretty confident it will outpower anything going lb per lb of boost on the same displacement in the shark...that was the original goal. Certain people know this is true too, but they then resort to childish name calling and personal attacks to divert people's attention. It won't work.
I have loads of photos...but not ready to release them just yet. A lot of time spent figuring this build out...but when I'm done and tooled up I'll probably release some pics. But right now I'd be giving away my secrets and that just isn't happening. Initially, I'll be running 8 psi on the stock engine...then teardown at the turn of the year to build it for more pressure.

Take your time, i'm sure it'll be worth the weight.
The fellows at 928 Turbosports and your own Goldfinger proved that turbo setups are 100% feasible, so i have no doubt you'll emerge with a fully capable beast of a machine. ![]() |

One important point to note Sniper:
The Goldmember was nothing more than a teething ring... I think you catch my drift...
