the material on these seats is no longer made... thus they are more valuable..
unfortunately these are torn to the point I'm not sure if they're salvagable... may be good to use for door inserts

Its what was on the first 928's, and some Porsche guys are into it. I just pass it on when I see it. People are looking into having original fabric woven, but its pricey. Wanna guess what these go for?

As I remember them, these were in early 928's, particularly Euro/ROW cars?
Rare enough, but as everyone has already said, probably not possible to save..... It's pretty crazy looking stuff on the inside of any car, much less a 928, but most everyone is going leather even when their car didn't come with it, including me (mine is not a restoration per se, I just happen to prefer leather--my wife doesn't. As I have told her, she doesn't have to ride in it either!). First time I saw this stuff, I thought I was being subjected to a bad (drug) trip----not that I've ever had one, but I can't imagine someone with Astignatism (can't spell that either) trying to drive one with it? Interesting stuff, though..... regards---rhjames

Paul does amazing work. My favorite are the seats in his own car, ostrich on the bolsters, with a special contrasting zebra thread, picts in the SITM stuff I think.
He uses a laser to burn those letters into the leather, and apparently it wasn't easy or fast.
